If you found your way here...

...we hope you'll stick around to find out a bit more about Aimee and her family and how ALS is changing their lives.

Read one of Aimee's essays on the "Aimee's Writing" page. Check out photos of her family on the "Aimee's Family" page. Look at her children's faces and imagine them asking her about ALS, the future, death. Walk in her shoes for a few minutes by reading "A Day in the Life." Go to the "ALS Activism" page to see how we are trying to make a difference in the fight against ALS.

Aimee's story is just one among thousands of ALS patients. Visit "martyfest.com" for another patient and family's story. Check out "szat.com" to see another family's awareness-raising efforts. And remember that there are many, many more stories that go untold.

Our hope is that by gaining familiarity with Aimee and her family through this website, you will feel moved to action in the fight against ALS: to help raise awareness, to volunteer your help with an event, or to help raise funds for research and patient services.

Even if you can't support our efforts financially right now, or you don't have a spare moment to volunteer, you can help in our fight by spreading awareness.

We are continually amazed at how often people will ask, "What is ALS?" or say, "I've heard of Lou Gehrig's disease...but I'm not really sure what it is." A few moments spent telling friends or family about this website will help us spread the word.

Thank you for your time!
